This comprehensive training program is designed to equip HIV care teams (clinical and nonclinical staff) with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to effectively implement and manage long-acting antiretroviral therapy using Cabotegravir/Rilpivirine (CAB/RPV). This training module covers the two dosing regimens, the steps involved during a client’s injection appointment, common side effects, tips to minimize pain from injection site reactions, and best practices to reduce the risk of medicine errors and waste during preparation and administration.
