QuizTime is a webbased app developed by Vanderbilt University Medical Center and designed to help busy clinicians obtain CME through delivery of clinically relevant “microbites” of content in the form of daily multiple choice questions. Users receive one multiple choice question per day via text message or email. As soon as a question is answered, QuizTime provides feedback, including a rationale and links to supporting resources. If the question is answered incorrectly, the user can opt to receive the question again. For each question answered correctly, the user receives a portion of continuing education credits.

How Does It Work?

  • Sign up for a course
  • Answer one multiple choice quiz question per weekday
  • Claim your CME credit

How To Register

  • First, you will register on the SE AETC website.
  • After that, you’ll enroll in the QuizTime course.
  • You can choose whether you want to receive the quizzes via email or text message.
  • You will receive your first quiz question the weekday after you enroll. Most questions take about 5 minutes to research (this quiz is open book!) and answer.
  • Once you finish the course, you’ll get a code to claim your CME from Vanderbilt.
