Southeast AETC 2021 Virtual Conference Banner

Welcome to the Southeast AIDS Education and Training Center’s (SE AETC’s) 2021 Virtual Conference: Ending the HIV Epidemic After 2020! We look forward to the next two and a half days as we present the opportunity to expand your knowledge in the areas of HIV care and service implementation, while earning continuing education credit for attending the conference. We are excited to provide three different educational tracks presented to you by dynamic and experienced faculty and staff of the SE AETC’s partner sites and HIV experts across the country:

  • The Fundamentals track will build a clinical foundation for primary care providers and clinicians new to HIV through programs that discuss implementing opt-out testing, prescribing PrEP, and treating HIV as part of primary care.
  • The Advanced track, including topics of current interest to the HIV expert, will feature talks on weight gain and ART, drug interactions, treating special populations, and more.
  • The Services track will outline successful implementation practices of HIV support services, including applying for Ryan White funds to support a clinic and creating HIV wrap-around programs to improve viral suppression in patients struggling with substance misuse and behavioral health.

We encourage you to ask questions in the chat box, explore and get familiar with the virtual conference platform, and take advantage of this time to connect with HIV experts. If you have a question after the presentation ends or want to chat about other topics around HIV care, the Q&A Booth will be staffed by SE AETC faculty and staff during the lunch break and for 30 minutes after the last presentation of each day for you to network and connect with us.

When you join the event, please make sure you are disconnected from any VPNs and that you are viewing on the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. For further assistance, please visit Browser Compatibility and Network Connectivity Settings.
